Meet Tracy<\/h2>

\nBased in Balloch on the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond, I use a variety of natural and non-invasive therapies that help restore the body, mind and spirit of the individual person. 

I love living in Scotland and we mostly choose to holiday in Scotland over anywhere else.
I am inspired and healed by its landscapes and energies and that is where my art is sourced.<\/p><\/div> <\/div>

Today\u2019s hectic and stressful lifestyles can take its toll mentally, physically, and emotionally. At Alba Holistic we believe we can facilitate healing whatever the core issue. Alba Holistic provides a bespoke holistic service to people needing help with any aspect of their lives via biomagnetic pairing, emotional freedom technique and reiki as appropriate.
I have suffered chronic illness and knows how it feels to get no real help from doctors. In addition being a practitioner in the above therapies, I can also give support and advice, based on years of research and personal experience. I am also an intuitive and can offer energetic healings whic are entirely personal to each and every client.<\/p><\/div> <\/div>

Why I do this<\/h2>

After struggling through my last couple of years of high school with chest infections and viral infections that I never recovered from, I was eventually diagnosed with PVFS\/CFS\/ ME (or whatever you want to call it!) in 1991. I have learned a lot about myself and the many, many different ways to heal over 30 years of sickness. I eventually worked out that doctors could not help me. Well, they had been saying that for years! The tools I use here are amongst those that were, and are still, most helpful to me.\n

Despite being sick, I have degrees in Engineering, I am a published researcher in that field, and I have worked in related corporate IT. I was a very head-based person and thought things like aromatherapy were just fake: \u201csmelling things can heal my poor health\u2026 I don\u2019t think so!\u201d, although I thought yoga was pretty good. \n

Convinced by my continuing poor health and managing to keep my sceptical, analytical, logical mind open has allowed me to try all sorts of what I would have called weird, woowoo or \u201cvoodoo sh1t\u201d (the last one is my husband\u2019s favourite phrase). This has very slowly evolved over all the years into a daily meditation practice, breathing and cold-water therapy for myself and working as a facilitator to others health.\n

There was a moment of clarity for me at a large reiki share in Glasgow\u2019s trade halls that I realised that I could be a bridge for people like the sceptical old me and the \u201creally out there\u201d practices that could help them (like they did for me).<\/p><\/div> <\/div>

My Journey with Reiki<\/h2>

This was the first therapy I trained in. \n

When my children were born, I had a huge connection to them, and they used to ask me for \u201ccalm hands\u201d when they were small. While this was fine with my own kids, I realised I was using my own energies to prop up others and having formal training in Usui Reiki has allowed me to channel the universal energy while protecting my own. I use it every day, all day if I can! \n

My Journey with EFT<\/h2>

I first came across the concept of EFT while having therapy with Jacqueline Munro. I had been seeing Jacq for reflexology for a few months and she talked me through a few rounds at the end of a session. I distinctly remember the closing statement being \u201cbecause it is all about me\u201d. I also remember laughing because I knew that Jacq knew that I had young kids and a new partner and work, so it couldn\u2019t possibly be \u201cabout me\u201d until after all that. Years later I realise this was a turning point for me, that I had been putting myself last and things changed from there!
I then attended the tapping solution summit and had so many huge realisations and shifts that I decided that I had to know how to do this myself. So, I trained with Bill Kerins in July 2016 and became a practitioner. My Journey with Biomagnetic Pairing Therapy<\/h2>

 I had a chance encounter in the caf\u00e9 at Tir na Nog near Drymen, with a man who had been having biomagnetic pairing therapy for chronic Lyme disease. He was trying to gather people that would benefit from the treatment so that his Dublin based therapist could run a clinic nearby. This is when I first heard of it and found out that it was a popular treatment in South America and in Spanish speaking countries. I heard that Rob Renehan had trained to help his brother\u2019s chronic illness and he had returned to his full time firefighter job. His brother had ME or undiagnosed Lyme disease and similar to the symptoms I was still having, and so thought it was worth a try.
I had a huge physical reaction to my first couple of treatments as things cleared my body; but they were not worse than what I had already been experiencing. I travelled to California in 2016 to train with Helena Guerrero which I could not have done before the treatments I had with Rob. I had treatment with Helena while there and found that my body had been holding onto sickness. Since that was cleared, I have been making progress.
I still use magnets as and when I have any acute sicknesses and also regularly to ensure that my pathogenic load is minimised. I have also seen it:\n

Clear chest or throat infections in 3 days that antibiotics have not moved. \n

Cleared gut conditions that people had been told were chronic and they would have to live it, in one session. \n

Someone that had a chronic lung condition (aspergillosis) who\u2019s oxygen levels went from mid 80% on medications to 96% (normal) with no medication in one session.<\/p><\/div> <\/div>

After a few treatments, I began to notice a difference. The constant fatigue I had been feeling for so long had lessened. It is only now, looking back that I realise how much I used to plan my life around being tired. I have been able to resume my hobby of running. Feeling so good, I set myself the challenge of entering the London marathon in 2018. I completed this and then 2 marathons in 2019. I continue to run 3 times a week for enjoyment.
